The War of the Shards began with a simple idea: a realm divided by ancient bloodlines, each bound to a shard, a beast and a history too powerful to stay buried.

I have always loved fantasy worlds that feel old before the first page begins — kingdoms with scars, families with secrets and characters forced to choose between loyalty, duty and instinct. Veyra grew from that love.

The Shattering of Veyra is the first step into that world. It is a story of brothers, kings, bonded beasts, broken trust and the moment a kingdom discovers that the peace it was built upon may have been a lie.

When I’m not writing, editing or expanding the lore of Veyra, I’m usually planning what comes next for The War of the Shards — and building Any Fantasy World into a home for fantasy readers, writers and creators.
